To submit your event, please send us the name of the event, date, time, location and contact phone number to listings@peterboroughkids.com. For our printed format, please send your information by the first week of January, March, May, July, September, November, for the Feb/Mar, Apr/May, Jun/Jul, Aug/Sept, Oct/Nov, Dec/Jan issues respectively. For online submissions, please send us your event one week prior to the event date.

Canada Day Open House

Art Gallery of Peterborough, 250 Crescent Street on the shore of Little Lake beside Del
Crary Park, downtown.
Visit your Art Gallery this Canada Day at the Annual Open
House from 1 pm to 4 pm.
All exhibitions are open and the Gallery will feature guided vault tours
and family activities.
Family arts and crafts in the gallery studio invite families to make a flag,
draw a map and paint a picture of your favourite part of Canada. No fee
or registration required. An adult must accompany children.
All events are free and are accessible. Admission to the Gallery and all
exhibitions and family day is free and all are welcome.

Multicultural Canada Day

Del Crary Park, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The New Canadians Centre Peterborough invites you to participate in the “Multicultural Canada Day” festivities at Del Crary Park. The event includes stage performances, the annual International Food Tent and Craft Vendors celebrating Canada’s / Peterborough’s diversity. All are invited to take a sample citizenship test to see what newcomers must know to become Canadian. Children can enjoy the face-painting, henna and field games at the Kids Zone.
